Salli has no server. Your lists live in your own Apple iCloud (CloudKit) database and are shared only with the people you invite. The developer cannot see, read, or retrieve any of it.
Salli stores your shopping lists and their items (name, quantity, unit, price, note, category, completed state), the categories you create, the name you choose to show to people you share a list with, and a private list of item names you have added before, which powers autocomplete. All of this lives exclusively in your own private CloudKit database, under your own Apple Account, plus a copy on each of your devices so the app works offline. Salli operates no backend service, so this data is never transmitted to the developer or to any third party.
Sharing a list generates an iCloud share code, shown as a QR code and as text. Anyone who has that code can join the list and edit it, so treat it like a password and hand it only to people you intend to share with. You can see everyone on a list, remove any of them, or stop sharing entirely, at any time, from the list's "Manage People" screen.
When you share a list, the name you have set in Salli is published into that list's iCloud data so the other people on it can see who made a change. It is visible only to people on that same list.
Adding an item by voice is optional and only runs while you are actively holding the dictate button. Salli uses Apple's own speech recognition to turn what you said into text. Depending on your device and language, Apple may process that audio on its servers; that transcription is handled entirely by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. Salli does not record, store, or transmit audio itself — it keeps only the resulting text, as the item you added. This feature is not present in the Mac app.
The camera is used for one purpose only: scanning a shared list's QR code so your device can join it. No images are captured, saved, or transmitted. This feature is not present in the Mac app.
If you allow notifications, Salli can tell you when someone else edits a list you share. These notifications are composed on your own device after iCloud syncs the change — no notification server ever sees your list contents.
The Apple Watch app receives your lists from your iPhone over Apple's direct device-to-device connection. The watch never connects to iCloud or to any network service on its own.
Settings → Delete Account permanently erases your Salli data: it stops sharing every list you own, leaves every list shared with you, deletes your lists and categories from iCloud, and wipes the copy stored on your device. Because the data lives in your own iCloud account, deleting it is entirely within your control. Deleting the app alone removes the local copy but leaves your iCloud data in place, so use Delete Account first if you want it all gone.
Salli is a shopping-list app for families and is set up by an adult. It collects no information about children, and anything a family member enters never leaves the family's own iCloud storage.

אפליקציית השעון מקבלת את הרשימות מה‑iPhone שלכם דרך החיבור הישיר של Apple בין המכשירים. השעון אינו מתחבר ל‑iCloud ולא לשום שירות רשת בעצמו.
הגדרות ← מחיקת חשבון מוחקת לצמיתות את נתוני Salli שלכם: מפסיקה את השיתוף של כל רשימה שבבעלותכם, עוזבת כל רשימה ששותפה אתכם, מוחקת את הרשימות והקטגוריות מ‑iCloud, ומנקה את העותק שנשמר במכשיר. מכיוון שהנתונים נמצאים בחשבון ה‑iCloud שלכם, המחיקה נמצאת לחלוטין בשליטתכם. מחיקת האפליקציה בלבד מסירה את העותק המקומי אך משאירה את נתוני ה‑iCloud במקומם — ולכן אם אתם רוצים שהכול יימחק, השתמשו קודם במחיקת חשבון.
