Chorely has no server. All of your family's data is stored in your family's own Apple iCloud (CloudKit) database and shared only with the family members you invite. The developer cannot see, read, or retrieve any of it.
Chorely stores names, optional nicknames, optional profile photos, chores, and the virtual allowance ledger. All of this lives exclusively in your family's private CloudKit database, under your own Apple Account. Chorely operates no backend service, so this data is never transmitted to the developer or to any third party.
The camera is used for one purpose only: scanning a family invite QR code so a device can join a family. No images are captured, saved, or transmitted.
If you choose a profile photo, it is selected through Apple's standard photo picker and stored only in your family's own iCloud data. Chorely requests no access to your wider photo library.
Allowance balances in Chorely are bookkeeping only. The app contains no payment processing and moves no real money — actual payment happens between family members outside the app.
The family owner can permanently delete the family and all of its CloudKit data using "Delete family" in the app. Any member can leave a family at any time, which removes Chorely's data from their device. Because the data lives in your own iCloud account, deleting it is entirely within your control.
Chorely is designed for families and is operated by a parent. Children participate through Apple Family Sharing child accounts under a parent's Apple Account. Chorely collects no information about children beyond what a parent enters in the app, and that information never leaves the family's own iCloud storage.

ל‑Chorely אין שרת. כל נתוני המשפחה נשמרים ב‑iCloud (CloudKit) של המשפחה עצמה, ומשותפים רק עם בני המשפחה שהזמנתם. למפתח אין כל דרך לראות, לקרוא או לאחזר אותם.
Chorely שומרת שמות, כינויים (אופציונלי), תמונות פרופיל (אופציונלי), מטלות ואת פנקס דמי הכיס הווירטואלי. כל אלה נשמרים אך ורק במסד ה‑CloudKit הפרטי של המשפחה, תחת חשבון Apple שלכם. לאפליקציה אין שרת, ולכן הנתונים לא נשלחים למפתח ולא לצד שלישי.
המצלמה משמשת למטרה אחת בלבד: סריקת קוד QR של הזמנה משפחתית לצורך הצטרפות למשפחה. לא נשמרות ולא נשלחות תמונות.
אם בחרתם תמונת פרופיל, היא נבחרת דרך בורר התמונות של Apple ונשמרת רק בנתוני ה‑iCloud של המשפחה. Chorely אינה מבקשת גישה לספריית התמונות כולה.
היתרות ב‑Chorely הן רישום בלבד. באפליקציה אין מערכת תשלומים והיא אינה מעבירה כסף אמיתי — התשלום בפועל נעשה בין בני המשפחה מחוץ לאפליקציה.
בעל/ת החשבון במשפחה יכול/ה למחוק לצמיתות את המשפחה וכל נתוניה בעזרת "מחיקת משפחה" באפליקציה. כל בן משפחה יכול לעזוב בכל עת, וזה מוחק את נתוני Chorely מהמכשיר שלו. מכיוון שהנתונים נמצאים בחשבון ה‑iCloud שלכם, המחיקה נמצאת לחלוטין בשליטתכם.
Chorely מיועדת למשפחות ומנוהלת על ידי הורה. ילדים משתתפים באמצעות חשבון ילד ב"שיתוף משפחתי" של Apple, תחת חשבון Apple של הורה. Chorely אינה אוספת מידע על ילדים מעבר למה שהורה מזין באפליקציה, ומידע זה לעולם אינו יוצא מאחסון ה‑iCloud של המשפחה.
